Les stages en laboratoire

La première année se termine par un stage de 2 mois (Avril à Juin) durant lequel les étudiants sont immergés dans un laboratoire pour une première expérience de recherche. Le projet qui leur est proposé doit être court, axé sur une question unique mais représentant un véritable challenge qui servira à évaluer leurs compétences. La deuxième année est consacrée, pour un semestre entier (Janvier à Juin), au stage pratique de master 2, qui doit permettre aux étudiants de se familiariser avec la démarche scientifique, définir des questions, poser des hypothèses, identifier des méthodes, mettre en œuvre un protocole, interpréter et discuter les résultats, et finalement, les communiquer. L’ensemble des étudiants (M1 et M2) défendront leur travail dans la seconde moitié du mois de Juin.

Si vous souhaitez proposer un stage de M1 (2 mois) ou M2 (6 mois) à nos étudiants, je vous serai reconnaissant de bien vouloir saisir votre sujet sur ce site Web. Vous devrez choisir l’option M1 ou M2, et vous pourrez préparer un fichier contenant la description détaillée de votre proposition que vous pourrez charger sur notre serveur. Ce fichier d’1 ou 2 page(s) pourra comporter les informations suivantes :

• Titre du stage
• Nom du ou des maîtres de stage et leur(s) affiliation(s)
• Description et objectifs scientifiques du projet
• Moyens techniques et scientifiques mis à disposition de l’étudiant
• Quelques références bibliographiques majeures sur le sujet

Nous apprécierions de recevoir vos propositions de sujets le plus tôt qu’il vous sera possible. Cette soumission sera suivie d’échanges entre vous et les étudiants, au moment de leurs choix, et avant qu’une décision finale soit prise. Laboratory internships

The first year ends by a 2-month internship during which students are immersed in a laboratory for a first research project. The project proposed to them must be short, addressing a single but challenging question to evaluate their skills. The second year is dedicated, for the entire second semester (beginning of January to mid-June) to the MSc thesis. The internship that they perform must initiate students to all aspects of a scientific project, identifying questions, designing hypotheses, performing scientific work, analysing and discussing scientific results, and finally communicating them. They will all (M1 and M2) defend their project in the second half of June.

If you wish to propose a 1st year or a 2nd year project that our students can perform in your laboratory or institution, during the academic year 2014-2015, please register your proposal on this website. You’ll have to click the year of your choice, and before submission, you can write a detailed description of your proposal, including the requested skills of the students and your expectations, that you will have to upload. In 1 or 2 pages, your proposal should be structured as follows:

• Title
• Name of the researcher(s) responsible for the proposal and affiliation - Description and scientific objectives of the proposal.
• Scientific and technical environment
• Some initial references about the topic

We would greatly appreciate receiving your proposal at your earliest convenience. This submission will be followed by exchanges between you and the student(s) when choosing your topic and before final acceptance.
